Maison Mayté is a family business spanning five generations of butchers with ancestral expertise. Today, it operates two production sites in the heart of the Basque Country. Traditional methods of air-drying ham combine with patented manufacturing procedures, focusing on rigour and safety at each stage of production.
The strength of the Mayté charcuterie is the pairing of high-end raw food materials and premium expertise, which led to the iconic Béret Basque sausage in the early 2000s. Today, Ibaiama ham, from a unique breed of pig, is recognised by professionals for its superior organoleptic qualities.
